Description

A cheerful vintage lounge chair in burnt-orange nubby wool-look upholstery, the kind of colour that makes a reading corner or retro living room. The wood trim gives it a Hollywood Regency touch without being fussy.

The tight back has a loose-look boxed pillow with six covered buttons and self-welted edges. The seat is upholstered with a welted front edge over a deep front band. Scrolled wood arm fronts end in carved Greek key–style caps and continue as moulded posts. A wood apron runs across the front, above square tapered legs with recessed carved panels. Fabric content and seat construction have not been confirmed.

Condition: Light pilling across the upholstery and a small pale spot at the front of the seat. Loose threads hang from under the seat edge at the front apron. The wood arms and legs show light scuffs and finish wear. Frame sturdiness, springs and odours have not been checked. The rug and other items shown are not included.
