This is a JVC QL-A2 automatic return direct-drive turntable. The unit features an S-shaped metal tonearm equipped with an adjustable counterweight, anti-skate dial, cueing control lever, reject lever, and a JVC-branded headshell mounted with a cartridge. Speed regulation is managed by a direct-drive quartz-locked system, driving an aluminum platter edged with strobe markings and topped with a black rubber mat. The deck is set within a silver-toned and black plinth and includes a hinged clear dust cover. Prominent surface scuffs and fine scratches are visible across the acrylic dust cover. Introduced in the late 1970s, the QL-A2 utilizes a coreless DC servo motor designed for stable rotational accuracy at 33 and 45 RPM.
