Sansui QRX-4500 4-Channel Receiver
$695.00 · Item #722
This Sansui QRX-4500 is a quadraphonic audio receiver housed in a wood-veneered cabinet with beveled forward edges. Its upper faceplate features a black glass panel with a teal-illuminated linear AM/FM tuner scale, an analog signal strength meter, and an illuminated mode indicator. The lower brushed aluminum panel contains knurled control knobs for tuning, volume, balance, and speaker selection, along with dual headphone jacks. Front and rear balance are adjusted via horizontal fader controls paired with a central vertical main balance slider. In the photographs, the tuner display and meter are powered on and illuminated, while the exterior shows surface dust and an indentation on the left wood side panel. Sansui released the QRX series in the early 1970s featuring their QS matrix system for decoding four-channel audio.
