Oak Pedestal Desk with Raised Back Gallery
$195.00 · Item #725
This piece is an antique or vintage oak double-pedestal desk, finished in a warm reddish-brown stain. The rectangular worktop is constructed from edge-joined planks with a visible longitudinal seam and features a low raised rear gallery with curved side brackets. Storage is arranged asymmetrically, with four stacked drawers on the left pedestal, a central lap drawer above the kneehole, and an upper drawer over a single hinged panel door on the right pedestal. All drawer fronts and the cabinet door are fitted with wide carved wooden pulls, accompanied by keyhole escutcheons on the upper tier. The top surface exhibits scattered scratches, minor finish wear, and light abrasions consistent with use.
